Karen Chason is a Tallahassee native, born in the area and educated locally, later raising her family in the community. With lifelong roots in Tallahassee, Karen offers clients deep local knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, and market trends—insight that only comes from firsthand experience and long-standing connection to the area.
After a successful career in the legal and lobbying industry, Karen transitioned into real estate and earned her Florida real estate license in 2014. Her professional background provides strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of contracts and timelines, all of which directly benefit her clients throughout every stage of the transaction process.
Karen proudly serves North Florida, including Tallahassee, with expanded real estate services across South Georgia, including Thomas and Grady Counties. She works with first-time homebuyers, seniors looking to downsize, buyers and sellers relocating, and real estate investors.
She holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES® – Florida) designation and is also certified as a Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR®). Karen is a Relocation Specialist licensed in both Florida and Georgia, specializing in corporate, workforce, and executive relocations.
Karen has experience working with major relocation management companies, including ARC Relocation, Cartus, SIRVA, BGRS, and CapRelo, and works closely with transferees and relocation coordinators to ensure a smooth transition from contract to closing.
Karen also works with real estate investors, including assisting parents and investors in identifying properties for college students attending Florida State University, Florida A&M; University, and Tallahassee Community College.
Karen is deeply involved in the community and has served on the American Heart Association community board, supported the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels through the Christmas Connection.
